Shimmer the Glowworm Finds Her Glow by Shelby Herman

The Synopsis:

Shimmer the Glowworm has a low glow and goes on an inspirational journey to find it. She discovers along the way that helping others find their glow is what makes her glow show and the ME TREE she lives in reflected that all along.

I received this book from the author/publisher for the purpose of this review. All comments and opinions are entirely my own.

Review:

The heart and message of this book is wonderful! It encourages the kids to find happiness in helping others find their happiness. As Shimmer travels to find her glow she meets many others who are low on self-esteem and she willingly sets her quest aside to help them. This not only gives those she meets a reason to believe in themselves but it also causes Shimmer to be that much closer to finding her glow. It’s such a sweet book and I was very pleased with it!

I rate Shimmer the Glowworm Finds Her Glow 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to parents of children who may be low on self-esteem or just those in need of a bedtime story. I am pretty sure you will be pleased with it either way.
