I received this book from the author for the purpose of this review. All comments and opinions are entirely my own.
What spiritual battles are you facing? Whatever is plaguing us-inner struggles, temptations, spiritual harassment, or opposition to the gospel-we can win our spiritual battles because in Christ, we don’t just survive. We excel.
Will we allow the obstacles and difficulties of our daily Christian lives to overcome us, or will we fight to win the victory over them? The principles that Paul passed to Timothy armed him for victory, and they can arm us, too. Victory is possible because God makes it possible.
In this study on 2 Timothy you will find inspiring application of Scripture, moving stories, thought-provoking questions, and heartfelt prayers. This book empowers you with the resources to win your spiritual struggles and the motivations to make a difference in the world around you. It equips you with over 275 principles of how to fight life’s battles and win.
Whatever victory you need today, arm yourself with the principles of 2 Timothy. Let them inspire you to win your spiritual battles so you can flourish in God’s peace, strength, and joy and do His will for your life. A Leader Guide is included for using this book as an 8-week group study.
“We have a message worth sharing.”- Katy Kauffman, 2 Timothy: Winning the Victory.
Wonderfully designed to be either a self read devotional, or read with a small group, 2 Timothy: Winning the Victory takes the reader(s) into an in-depth study of 2 Timothy.
Provided with daily reading, we take our time reflecting on the meaning of each verse in 2 Timothy. We also learn how to apply these verses to our lives with thought-provoking questions, challenges, and prayer guides.
Katy writes beautiful and creative illustrations for each verse to better our understanding of their meanings. Though her illustrations are a little lengthy on some days, they are so full of God’s truth that it’s not hard to be swept away in cross referencing all of the additional verses in your own Bible.
She also has some absolutely wonderful tips and suggestions for small group leaders towards the back of the book!
Overall, I most definitely recommend this and give it 5 out of 5 stars!
