You’ve probably heard the words “Live out your faith” dozens, if not hundreds, of times, but what does that phrase really mean? And how do you really follow Jesus in today’s world?
In this student adaptation of his book Thrive, Casting Crowns’ Mark Hall explores exactly what it means when your faith and your life collide, and how you can take the next steps in making that faith real and evident to those around you. Using relatable stories, applications you can use, as well as some life lessons, Hall shows how you can root yourself in the truth and grow strong in your beliefs as you become the person God designed you to be.
Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, in addition to Tim Luke, dive into the topic of not merely surviving as a Christian in school, but encourage us to Thrive in this student addition.
Thrive is in an easy-to-read format and it’s written in a way that is easy to understand for the students. Excellent for group Bible studies, there are many features that make it easy to study without every student owning a book (though it is still encouraged).
Some of the features are the Point To Remember boxes; which summarize the entire chapter with one sentence; Scriptures quoted directly from the English Standard Version (ESV); Personal stories and illustrations; and more.
Even if the reader is not a part of a group while reading this, I recommend it to students who are seeking to Thrive in their schools.
Note: There is an adult version of Thrive, and though I have not read it, I’m sure that it has many of the same concepts 🙂
