“The Prophecy’s Chosen Heir is such a fun middle grade fantasy adventure!”
Review by Rayleigh Setser
An ancient prophecy. A hidden sword. A kidnapped king.
Ever since Toby can remember he’s been the personal servant to the prince of Ariemday and his best friend.
When an old nemesis of the King’s crashes their fifteenth birthday ceremony, a wizard saves all of their lives, and a prophecy is recited that reveals Julian is the Chosen One. Toby doesn’t know what to thinkโฆprobably because heโs fainted.
Julian and Toby are tasked with a quest that could save their kingdom and the rest of the world. That is, if the prophecy is even real and if Julian even is the true Chosen One.

I received this audiobook for free from the author. All comments and opinions are entirely my own and this review is voluntary.

This review applies to both the audiobook and the paperback (since I have both)!
The Prophecy's Chosen Heir is such a fun middle grade fantasy adventure! I loved how the point of view stays with Toby, The Chosen One's Best Friend, which is a unique twist on the quest-like adventure.
The audiobook is excellently narrated and kept my attention throughout the whole story, and I loved it enough to immediately buy a paperback; which has beautiful artwork in the chapter-headers, by the way.
Overall, The Prophecy's Chosen Heir would make a great gift for the young fantasy-loving book dragons in your life! I'm very excited about the future books that will be added to this series!
