“Thoughts in Water, Feelings on Sand is a collection of short and direct poems with piercing undertones.”
Review by Rayleigh Setser
Thoughts in Water, Feelings on Sand is dedicated to the ones who feel things as deep as the ocean and think deeply about life. Thereโs something inside for everyone and poems that anyone can relate to, whether it be about love, life, depression, abuse, happiness, and all the things we may go through and experience in life. I hope as you read these poems you feel less alone and can gain the courage to be unapologetically you and feel intensely with no shame or fear.

"I floated from 'hi' and drowned from 'bye'."
Poetry is so beautiful and widely unique because it feels like tiny clippings of the poet's soul. Thoughts in Water, Feelings on Sand is a collection of short and direct poems with piercing undertones. The poems are lyrical and often inspired by nature and imagery of the ocean; exactly what one would expect from the title.
You won't encounter any vulgarity in this collection. There are no curse words or explicitly romantic poems, though that certainly doesn't mean the poems lack emotion or affect the reader. I highlighted many poems that I found so beautiful.
Thoughts in Water, Feelings on Sand is a collection for you if you enjoy modern poems of a few lines or less and occasional storytelling poems. I look forward to future poetry releases from the author!
