Kasie West is quickly becoming one of my favorite YA contemporary romance authors, and P. S. I Like You was a homerun for this genre!

I really enjoyed the family dynamics, giving a relatable and realistic but fun perspective on having “embarassing” siblings and “weird” parents. And the school dynamics with besties and bullies and everything in-between felt very genuine to the teenage experience.

Kasie writes some of the best clean romance, and Lily has amazing chemistry with her secret pen pal (in Chemistry class, no less)! The untangling of who the mysterious pen pal’s identity was so fun to follow! More fun than the mystery, though, was Lily’s reaction to each new revelation as she finds a kindred spirit in something as simple as letters left for her by a stranger.

The heart of this enemies-to-lovers story gave me huge huge huge Pride and Prejudice vibes in the best way possible! Lily’s journey is heartwarming with a hint of cozy conviction that will inspire you to have more compassion for those around you, and to not make assumptions about others. It is cute and humorous and the perfect book to grab when you are in a reading slump or just want something fun that will make you love love.
