Book Blurb:
These two wild ducks in all their glory,
Have a remarkable little story!
They have travelled thousands of miles, you see,
To end up in Bermuda, here with me.
Would you believe they are friendly and sweet?
Each day, same time, they come over to eat!
How is it something so wild and so free,
Always comes back here to little old me?

Lexi’s Review:

I really enjoyed the story of the characters Dominic and Ava who adopt a pair of ducks and learn about seasonal migration from their grandmother. I don’t usually enjoy rhyming stories, but Ms. Stuart executes the form well.
My biggest complaint with this book is the seemingly computer generated illustrations. The quality of the illustrations is inconsistent and seems copy-and-pasted.
Because of the poor illustration quality, I give this book three stars. I personally wouldn’t purchase this book for my son’s library, but would look for a children’s book about migration with higher quality illustrations.
