The Neighbor War by Katie Bailey

Book Blurb:

Get ready for Aiden and Courtney’s hilarious enemies to lovers story, coming this fall…

The Neighbor War is a laugh-out-loud funny, swoony, closed door romantic comedy. Expect some mild language and suggestive jokes along with sizzling hot chemistry and tension you could cut with a knife—all without the explicit scenes.

Lexi’s Review:

A few days ago, I saw on Instagram that The Neighbor War was 99 cents on Kindle. I hadn’t read anything by Katie Bailey before, so I read The Roommate Situation first. It was good, but I related to Courtney from The Neighbor War more than I could relate to Jess from The Roommate Situation.

I love Courtney. She loves her dogs because they’re emotionally safer than human relationships, and she has avoidant attachment style. She fights with Aidan, her next-door neighbor, as a defense mechanism to keep him at arms’ length because she is attracted to him but thinks he’s a player. My heart goes out to her.

Not only are her relationship struggles something I can vibe with, but she also has a secret that hits close to home for me. I won’t spoil it for you; you’ll have to go find out for yourself. 😉

I give this book five stars. If you enjoy clean romance with relatable characters, I highly recommend checking it out.
