With Valentine’s Day drawing near, there are plenty of ways to get your children inspired to make valentines for their friends and family and this book has a fun, rhyming way to give some ideas.
I love the heart of this book and the message it is trying to say, but I’m just not so sure I care for the way it is written. It almost seems as if there are 3 separate books within the one because it changes directions as well as tone of voice 3 different times, as if the author wasn’t exactly sure when to end the book. The illustrations are cute and for the most part it’s a fun book, just a little all over the place.
I give it 3 out of 5 stars and recommend it only to very young children for Valentine’s Day.
