Review:

Informative, entertaining, and well illustrated, If You Were Me and Lived in…Viking Europe is a children’s book that is written perfectly for schools or anyone who wishes to learn about the Viking times.

It travels across the Norse land telling of the habits, hobbies, families, religions, and lifestyles of the people who are so commonly called “vikings”. We learn things such as names and what they mean, some examples of Norse gods and what they were believed to be the gods of, and towards the end of the book there are even some of the historic vikings and their brief bios.

The book is paced very well, however in the middle of the book the pages can get quite long, but that is no big deal if it is being read to an older audience.

All in all, I’d say that If You Were Me and Lived in…Viking Europe would be an excellent investment for schools or a good present for children who enjoy reading and learning. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
