The Synopsis

They have been on many adventures together, like moving to a new neighborhood, flying on an airplane, visiting animal friends and relatives at a zoo, going back to school together to meet new teachers and learn—and now they get to enjoy a summer adventure on a wonderful beach vacation!

Review:
Ellie’s Best Beach Vacation Ever is an adorable book starring one of the authors’ stuffed animals. There are several books in The Amazing Adventures of Ellie the Elephant series and this one, I believe, is book 4; but don’t worry, they can be read in any order.
The “illustrations” are actually pictures of the stuffed animals taken in real-life places, so it has that bit of reality brought into the story. The pictures featured here are incredibly creative and well done.
In this book, the two stuffed animals go to the beach together and strengthen their friendship while learning about different beach activities. The story is worded easily so a beginning reader could easily pick this book up and read it to his or herself but it would also make a great read-aloud.
Also worth mentioning, a portion of every book sold (all books in the series) will go to help children in need; so when you purchase one of these books, you’re not only getting a great book, you’re also giving to a ministry!
So in light of everything, I rate Ellie’s Best Beach Vacation Ever 5 out of 5 stars and encourage you to pick up a copy if you have a little one in your life!
