Emma Had a Little Turkey by Mary Lee (An Emma Story)

The Synopsis:

Girls and boys will love this rhyming story about Emma and her pet turkey.

“Emma had a little turkey.
Its feathers were soft as snow
and everywhere that Emma went,
the turkey was sure to go”

What’s a better way to get children excited for Thanksgiving than a hilarious turkey tale?

This turkey loves following its friend Emma all the way to her soccer game. Best-selling author Mary Lee has written an endearing story with adorable characters brought to life with colorful, wacky illustrations.

I purchased this kindle book on my own and was not required to write a review. Therefore all comments and opinions are entirely my own.

Review:

Emma Had A Little Turkey

Rhyming to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb, this cute little picture book would be fun to read to your littles around Thanksgiving!

I love the pictures and the silly remake of Emma and her little turkey that plays soccer. It’s a short book and certainly aimed for ages 2-4 with the simpleness of the story, but it’s super cute. With the turkey in his little soccer uniform, don’t be surprised if your little munchkin suddenly wants a pet turkey!

I definitely recommend it to parents of both young boys and girls. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

(Don’t miss the Christmas story: Emma and Snowbell!)
