Coffee Shop DevosCoffee Shop Devos is such an encouraging devotional collection!

I love the way Tessa uses coffee to connect with her audience. When I was a teen, we had several Bible studies at our local coffee shop and it was always the highlight of my week; coffee and Jesus just go together!

In this devo, girls can be encouraged by scripture as well as some of Tessa’s own personal stories. They will be able to relate to things such as how to honor their parents, how to push through some troubling circumstances, and even how to look at God as a friend through the good times, just as much as we go to Him during the bad.

The devos are short and sweet. With one main scripture to focus on, a story or commentary from Tessa, a challenge, and a prayer. The book is not intended to be read through from front to cover, but rather for you to pick “from the menu” which devo you need that day. If you’re feeling happy, order yourself an Espresso. Having trouble being yourself? A Frappe is calling your name. Each section has a coffee recipe as well as different devotionals for you to work through so you’ll always find what you need for the day.

I really, really love this book and recommend it to teen girls who are looking to start a study, or even just to go through it by oneself. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
