The Synopsis:

Did she really see someone lurking down at the gatehouse? Which one is the bay tree, and what does nutmeg look like anyway? Should self-confessed teachers be allowed out into society?
All these questions must be answered before the weekend is over, with lessons to be learned along the way about baking, loyalty and just how strong a Mother can be.

A super funny book that makes the [listeners] laugh and have a good time!

I loved the way the story was told, it was a light read, and the descriptions were perfect at unveiling the story. I loved each of the characters and their roles in the story too. They made me laugh and their banter was entertaining.

The narration of the audiobook was also very good and captured the mood of the book very well. Claire was exceptional at toggling the characters, their feelings, and the scenes!

A good light read that I recommend for some laughter. 5 out of 5 stars!
